The Roswell Air Races Retro Motel Keychain borrows the elongated lozenge silhouette of a classic motel key fob and decorates both faces with race artwork. The front is a black enamel field: NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP in raised silver lettering, AIR RACES in red enamel, then ROSWELL and NEW MEXICO. A red enamel checkered pylon rises from an arched base, its checker squares left as bare polished metal, ringed by three silver contrail arcs, a jet, a prop racer and a green enamel flying saucer. SINCE 1964 anchors the foot. The back crosses two black and white checkered flags above FLY LOW. FLY FAST. TURN LEFT. in raised silver block capitals.
It is die-struck metal with enamel fill over raised linework, framed by a polished nickel border, on a jump ring and split ring. That is challenge coin construction with a ring added, so it rides on keys, a flight bag or a hangar hook and still looks like something worth keeping. Pylon courses are flown counter-clockwise, which is why the creed ends the way it does.
