One of the iconic fighter aircraft of WWII's Pacific Theater was the P-40 Warhawk. Emblazoned with the characteristic "shark's mouth" on the nose, these aircraft tangled with Japanese Zeros all over Southern Asia. From Pappy Boyington's Flying Tigers in China, in Burma, and over New Guinea, heroes were made in the P-40.
