If you wore an enemy uniform in World War II, and you saw a B-24 Liberator from the 515th Bombardment Squadron, you knew a world of hurt was on its way. The squadron primarily served in the Middle East, braving desert conditions to desolate enemy bunkers, troop encampments, fuel depots, transportation depots, and other critical enemy targets deemed essential to the enemy's functions.
The squadron emblem of the 515th is devilishly simple, with a singular dropping bomb pointed to the left, ridden atop by three red demons seemingly thumbing their noses at the enemy. The gray bomb has a fuse in the front, with unshrouded rear-guidance fins.
